The day of autism

Today is the international day of autism, meaning that we celebrate these little angels who - by their default character - are incapable of joining the general puppet show which we the "normal" people play so easily but who might save all of us one day by putting a counterbalance to the fluid socialisation which is probably a much more serious illness than even a severe level of autism. I might be somewhat autistic too though i have no official paper about it as yet but already the definition of the term is seriously misleading. In the oxford dictionary i am reading: "developmental disorder of variable severity characterized by difficulty in social interaction and communication and by restrictive or repetitive patterns of thought and behaviour". This might be true as long as your reference point to normality is fixed according to its commonly accepted interpretation in this modern world. However we more or less know of the latter but if not enough we will experience very soon that it is unviable. So i am not at all sure that our choice of origo is correct and after that i am not sure either if it is right to consider autistic people as ill or they are simply too healthy to this definitely very very ill society.
