Birthday greeting to one of my Russian friends

I see on facebook that you have your birthday today! I don't know what to say since "Happy birthday!" among these conditions is not easy but still i don't want to miss the occasion. This war is beating all of us though not to the same extent. In Hungary it looks safe but i am very disappointed on Europe's reaction which should be much more definitive much more clear much more univocal. In my mind it's a tragedy how Europe handles this crisis. I can imagine that one day anybody can get into situations like your patriots now who are receiving their draft notice at the middle of the night even. I know about myself that there are limits and there is honesty and one cannot do anything to save his life. Anybody might find himself among very awkward circumstances but i hope i will recognize if the moment is coming and i will be able to be brave enough not to mix the values. We were good friends we are good friends we are human beings here and after here. Humans also if the meaning of this world is forgotten in the general fear in the general dread in the general panic. Let's avoid unworthy bargains where our soul would be on sale for few more miserable days.
